APRES SKI
Macugnaga is a small and very friendly Italian village with a relaxed and laid-back attitude to après ski. That’s why we think it’s perfect for people who want to escape the crowds, take it easy, and enjoy fantastic Italian hospitality. Macugnaga is a top Italian ski resort with plenty to offer. Our charming and friendly village offers bars, restaurants, a disco, and an ice rink for you to enjoy, as well as other fun and enjoyable activities to lighten up your evenings. Centred around a bar and hotel culture, you will find plenty of friendly venues to relax, chat, and get a flavour for the area while sampling local drinks such as “grappa” and a warm glass of “fil da fer”. Fresh pasta is served daily and you can find local cheeses, polenta – a versatile Italian dish made from coarsely ground cornmeal – and fine, regional wines. If you want to be a little more active in the evening you could go skating at the ice rink, tobogganing, or take part in the Torchlight Descent of the mountain.
SKI SCHOOL
Fun and entertaining, our ski school “Scuola Di Sci Monte Rosa” consists of 12 highly qualified instructors – https://monterosaholidays.com/index.php/ski-school-experts/ . Predominately English-speaking, each ski instructor has a different skiing speciality, enabling the tutor to closely match individual needs with the most appropriate teacher. Perfect for families, Macugnaga offers a blend of gentle slopes, warm hospitality, delicious food, and great value. In 2025, many resorts are even more family-friendly thanks to infrastructure upgrades and ski schools
